Jewelry Designer, 3D Artist, and Graphic Designer
Since graduating from the Illinois Institute of Art in December of 2010, I have had broad experience in the graphics industry working in video games, film, graphic design, 3D printing, and most recently jewelry design. For nearly four years, I've worked as a jewelry CAD designer. It is a rewarding job that has had me sketching, designing, milling, and casting custom jewelry for clients. Before that, I spent years in the game industry as well as freelancing as a 3D artist for 3D printing and graphic design. As always, my goal is to grow as an artist and refine my skills to become the best that I can be, all while sharing my own experience. The fun of being an artist is in the challenge and the reward in creating something the client truly loves.

“While I didn't work closely with Andrew I witnessed his work & work ethics first-hand... he displays the passion and drive a manager looks for in an employee. Always one of the first 10 into the office, gets his morning routine out of the way and hits the ground running. Done with that assignment? The kid is hunting for his next task... one word comes to mind... Hungry. No task is too big or too small... you get the same intensity either way, which leads me to my next word... Consistent. Aside from these stellar qualities Andrew is a nice guy, easy to get along with & speak with, whether you're exchanging ideas, critiquing work or going over techniques. A combination not often found...”

“I can't say enough good things about Andrew. Working with him comes with a feeling of trust that whatever he is tasked with will be completed in the most efficient way possible. Andrew has a unique ability to comprehend a task incredibly quickly and also convey his own ideas concisely. Andrew is professional, he is comprehensive, and most of all he is one of the most effective artists I've ever had the pleasure of working with .”
-Matt Pierson, Associate Artist, NetherRealm Studios
“I've had the opportunity to work with Andrew on several projects, including Batman Arkham City Lockdown. While relatively new to the industry, Andrew takes direction well and works well with a team of artists. He consistently delivered quality work and completed his work on time. If you are looking for a real solid junior environment artist, I would recommend Andrew.”
-Brian Schultz, World Artist, NetherRealm Studios
“Andrew is a great guy to work with. He is a very knowledgeable and hard working person who puts the project first. He picked up our workflow and pipeline needs quickly and was instrumental in the project's completion.”
-Michael Mulkey, Senior World Artist, NetherRealm Studios
“I worked with Andrew, aka TJ, on a few projects and assorted tasks. He consistently preformed well. He quickly adapted to our pipeline and learned our tool set with ease. On top of that Andrew got along well with everyone on the team and even participated in our daily lunch GRID sessions. Team player, hard worker, Welbig.”
-Eric Lenerville, Associate Artist, NetherRealm Studios
“Andrew was often times regarded as the guru of our team. Ever full of experience and knowledge, Andrew was always willing to field questions about software, processes or simply provide feedback on work. He shined as having both the ability to instruct and teach in a meaningful and effective manner as well as being able to take command and organize the team when necessary to keep our productivity moving at full force. Any team in need of a knowledgeable artist with the ability to step up and lead would benefit from having Andrew on board.”
-Anthony Barnes, Associate Environment Artist, NetherRealm Studios
“Andrew was a valuable 3D Artist during his time working on The Searcher show project. We worked closely together to find creative solutions to our artistic goals and worked to overcome the challenges of Planetarium full dome production. His ability to take direction and work through difficult 3D scene design and his attention to detail helped us finish the project on time.” April 27, 2012
